QuIC was present at the workshop entitled “Quantum and Chips: Developing European industrial capabilities in quantum technologies” organised by the European Parliament’s Science and Technology Options Assessment (STOA) on 12 October 2022. The event, which saw the participation of several decision makers and representatives from the industry and research centre involved in the field of quantum technologies, was aimed at raising awareness about Quantum Technologies and the challenges and opportunities that they offer to Europe.

QuIC Governing Board President Laure Le Bars addressed the Committee and presented the key strategic needs of the European quantum industry, particularly vis-a-vis challenges from around the globe. Recommendations, together with a request for prompt actions, were put forward to improve the European Innovation Council “EIC Accelerator”.
